And here I am again,
In love with another machine, incapable of feeling.
But I don't care - you take my breath away and quickly give it back again.
You have given me new life!
You have given me back my dreams!
I wake refreshed, and leave you for the day
But I will always sleep with you, my love.
Connected, as we are,
My nose to your hose.
Oh, I love this! I feel the same way about mine. How did I ever live so long without it? Why didn't the blankety-blank doctors diagnose my sleep disorder years ago? Heaven knows I told them all I had a sleep disorder, and they merely blinked.
ReplyDeleteI am still not bouncing with energy, but I'm so much better than I was earlier this year, I can hardly believe I'm me.

You leave me speechless, Kay.
ReplyDeleteThat last couplet made me cry like a baby. It's beautiful.
