That is torture and scary at the same...Holy Moly!!! That is torture and scary at the same time. I discovered the wrath of the red ants in South Carolina last summer and it was pretty much the same kind of itch. Painful, couldn't stop, wanted to stop but wanted more and the redness and swelling. Nothing otc worked for me. My boyfriend thought I was just a big baby until I woke on the 2nd day to the ugliest, distorted foot he'd ever seen and dragged my butt to the ER. Prednisone was all that would work. Hopefully for your sake you're all better tomorrow.
